March 28, 2020

With further government restrictions on the movement of people not involved in the provision of ‘essential services’, any company whose services or products are not included in the Government’s list of ‘essential services’, will unfortunately no longer be able to gain access to Wexford Enterprise Centre.

Wexford Enterprise Centre realises the impact this major disruption may have on your business. We would like to sincerely thank each and every tenant for their continued cooperation and support in following the Business Continuity Plan thus far, which has allowed Wexford Enterprise Centre to remain open for business. Wexford Enterprise moves to Stage 3 of the Covid-19 Business Continuity Plan

March 23, 2020

Following the substantial increase in the rate of infection within the general public, Wexford Enterprise Centre has decided to move to Stage 3 of the Business Continuity Plan effectively immediately.

Going forward, it will be necessary to restrict entry into Wexford Enterprise Centre to tenants and their staff only. As all entry and exit doors, including shutter doors, must now be locked at all times. Each tenant will be responsible for getting their staff in and out of the building. Anyone unlocking the main reception door, which continues to be the only point of entry, must ensure that it is locked again after them. In addition, anyone excepting a delivery, must make arrangements to meet the delivery agent outside of the building, as they will not be allowed to enter.

These are unprecedented, uncertain and in many ways, frightening times. Wexford Enterprise Centre will continue to do everything possible to support you, your business and your staff.” – Brendan Ennis, CEO Wexford Enterprise Centre

March 2, 2020

In response to the first reported case of Covid-19 in Ireland, a 5-Step Business Continuity Plan was issued to all resident businesses located in Wexford Enterprise Centre in anticipation of possible government restrictions which may be imposed in an effort to help curb the escalation of the virus.

As a result, all 32 resident businesses were issued with:
• A personnel planning sheet – detailing basic protective and procedural measures, as advised by the WHO, for companies to consider implementing to help protect their staff.
• A Business Continuity sheet – detailing basic policy and procedural measures suggest by the Business Continuity Institute to support and protect businesses from the economic impact that could occur should the virus spread.
• Face masks.

We find ourselves in a changing environment where many personal and business risks are now emerging and developing on a daily basis. Our overriding priority is the health, safety and welfare of all those working within the Enterprise Centre, and the business continuity of our tenant companies and the Enterprise Centre itself.” – Brendan Ennis, CEO Wexford Enterprise Centre

In addition, the Centre also immediately increased the number of hand-sanitising dispensing points throughout the building, increased its cleaning and disinfecting schedules and made changes to its security and monitoring procedures.
