A CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE

Wexford Enterprise Centre officially opened in 1989 to help combat high levels of local unemployment, social exclusion and marginalisation.  Wexford Enterprise Centre, is a social enterprise division of Wexford Enterprise Association, which also encompasses Datagroup, an information management organisation, Recycling 2000, manufacturers of animal bedding products made from old newspaper and TradeBridge, an international trade initiative linking Savannah, Georgia, USA and Wexford, operated in association with Wexford County Council, Enterprise Ireland, Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA) and the World Trade Centre Savannah.

To support the creation of sustainable employment through the encouragement and stimulation of private and co-operative enterprise in County Wexford and to impact positively on the social fabric of the County.

The Wexford Enterprise Centre is governed by a voluntary body of Wexford-centered professionals with a broad range of local, national and international business experience and community involvement. The Board of Management give freely of their time and expertise and alongside the Executive work towards the goals and objectives of the organisation..

A DRIVING FORCE

Wexford Enterprise Centre, together with Enterprise Ireland, was a driving force behind the establishment and development of the South East Enterprise Centre Association (SEECA) and the National Association of Community Enterprise Centres (NACEC).
